RISE & SHINE VINYASA- Rise and shine in this Non-heated vinyasa class as you flow continuously through sun salutations, working into approachable standing, apex and seated postures. Link breath with movement and build strength and endurance as you mindfully move to your edge of balance and flexibility.  Establish steadiness and ease, moving energy with the breath. Little Buddhas Mommy & Me Yoga- Connect with other moms, reconnect with your child and feel great! Little Buddhas allows moms the buddhaful opportunity to reconnect with their bodies with yoga, while bonding with their little ones. Move through yoga poses, breathing exercises and guided meditations creating strength, flexibility, inner peace & mental calm.

Little Buddhas also includes a restorative and meditative time for you and your child in our safe and playful environment.  Enjoy the benefits of group socialization, bonding and coffee and other delicious drinks in the cafe after class in our positive welcoming space. 45 minutes 

BodyEaseRx -Do you suffer from tight muscles, stiff joints, foot, hip, back, shoulder or neck pain? Feeling anxious or stressed? Would you like to be more flexible and to get into yoga postures with more ease? Then BodyEaseRx is the class for you! 

Calling all Crossfitters, elite athletes, weight lifters, mom’s needing a break, athletes looking for some much needed recovery, College students looking to release stress and everyone in between. BodyEaseRx is the treat your body has been looking for. This is a heavily restorative, low intensity, stress and anxiety relieving, no impact class, that combines several modalities; *EFT Tapping *Qigong Energy work  *SMR Self-myofascial release *Joint freeing stretches. 

This class is designed to provide instant and long lasting relief as you soften connective tissue restrictions, release trapped energy, relieve muscle and joint pain and restore flexibility. YIN -(Trauma Informed)- Yin Yoga stems from Taoism integrated with Traditional Chinese Medicine (very similar to acupuncture). The Yin practice explores how the Chi (life force energy) travels up the meridians in the body. Looking for sensation, not pain. We practice poses in a passive way in which the muscles can relax so we can get into the fascia, (the deeper connective tissue.) 

We hold poses three to five minutes to support the body’s ability to attend to the connective tissue.  Yoga Nidra is an ancient sleep based meditation practice. Through the use of a series of breath, body and awareness techniques to drop below the thinking mind, into the feeling body to release trapped energy, unhelpful habits and behavior patterns to facilitate real change. It is also considered a Therapeutic Yoga technique for emotional integration and guidance.

Through intention setting or Sankalpa, the practice facilitates the ability to easily change your reaction patterns to help you let go go of past programming, helps with PTSD, anxiety, stress, pain, insomnia, depression and fibromyalgia. Yoga Nidra can also help you connect to your own Divinity/Source, increase productivity, creativity, help you to gain insights and inspiration and even to reconnect to loved ones who have passed.

Why is sound healing so beneficial? Everything is a vibration, and you tune your body like you tune an instrument. Different instruments are set to certain frequencies. Sound healing allows your body to heal itself by slowing down your brain waves, which affect every cell in your body, shifting them from dis-eased to being in ease.

The sound vibrations help to re “tune” the body, restoring harmony and peace throughout and also helps the brain reach deep relaxation – specifically the delta and theta brain wave states, which are the slowest, like when we daydream or are in deep sleep. They aid relaxation, creativity and natural healing.

Sound Healing is highly rejuvenating for the body and bring about an overall sense of relaxation, which can reduce stress as well as help develop a better ability to cope with stress, help move emotional blockages from trauma, and even stimulate altered states of consciousness. They may also encourage greater overall stillness and contentment.

The practice of yoga Nidra works best when you are supremely comfortable. We do not offer props for Yoga Nidra at the Blue. Please bring your own comfort items like a thick yoga or exercise mat, bolster or rolled up towel for under your knees, light blanket, eye mask and or a small pillow to achieve a greater level of comfort and a more enjoyable experience
